Secured $70 million judgment on behalf of crypto company founder against former partners who committed fraud in California
In November 2021, Dynamis’s client sued–and was countersued by–his former business partners who attempted to divest the client from the crypto business he had co-founded. Dynamis filed claims for, inter alia, fraud, breach of contract, and RICO violations. After aggressive litigation and discovery, Dynamis secured terminating sanctions and a $70,000,000 judgment in California state court. Concurrently, Dynamis defended against claims of breach and fraud brought by the co-founders against Dynamis’s client and his family members in the Northern District of California. Dynamis secured a dismissal with prejudice of all claims.
