Yusef is counsel for Dynamis LLP in Los Angeles, where he focuses on complex litigation, investigations, and international disputes. He guides clients through all phases of litigation, from strategy and pre-suit investigations to trial and appeal, formulating tailored approaches to maximize their prospect of success. Yusef has extensive experience drafting dispositive motions, defending key depositions, and managing large-scale discovery. His proven ability to navigate intricate legal and factual issues, paired with his powerful written and oral advocacy, make him a trusted adviser in resolving challenging, high-stakes cases.

Experience & Representative Matters

Yusef started his legal career as a judicial law clerk to Judge Jeffrey A. Meyer in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut and then-Chief Judge Jeffrey R. Howard in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, where he obtained rare insight into how adjudicators decide cases. He went on to work at one of the largest and most successful litigation firms in the world, where he played an integral role in securing substantial legal victories for Fortune 500 companies and high-net-worth individuals, including in motion practice and at trial. Before joining Dynamis, Yusef successfully managed a law firm representing executive-level employees in a range of disputes. His representative matters include:

  • Member of trial team defending major technology company in high-profile privacy class action seeking $5 billion in damages, resulting in a favorable zero-money settlement

  • Member of trial team representing former CEO of a major Chinese e-commerce company in a lawsuit seeking over $1 billion in damages, resulting in a favorable settlement

  • Prepared dispositive motion and appellate briefing in $700 million lawsuit against leading French companies and their officers, contributing to a dismissal order and summary affirmance

  • Prosecuted a false advertising case for a major pharmaceutical company before the National Advertising Division, resulting in a referral to the Federal Trade Commission for priority treatment

  • Co-led discovery efforts in multiple complex patent investigations before the International Trade Commission
